Communication Axess Ability Group works with two different types of video based interpreter services. Video Remote interpreting consists of a one to one conversation between the deaf consumer and the sign language interpreter via distance telecommunications devices. By taking advantage of state of the art desktop video conference equipment, the interpreter is virtually transported to offsite locations. With this service everything about the interpreting process remains the same except the interpreter is not on site, but is actually working from a remote location such as the main office or the interpreter's home. Key Benefits
The mechanics of Video Relay interpreting are basically the same as Video Remote with a different intent. This service allows the deaf consumer to contact a centrally located Video Interpreter via web cam or other telecommunications device, while the Video Interpreter is then connected via regular telephone services to the hearing party with whom the deaf consumer wishes to have a conversation. The conversation is "relayed" from the consumer to the recipient, and back again, via the Video Interpreter. Key Benefits
CapabilitiesWe provide Video Relay Service center staffing with the most highly qualified state and nationally certified interpreters in our partnership with CSDVRS.
