Communication Axess Ability Group is always seeking qualified interpreters to participate in our Community and Video Interpreter Programs.

Communication Axess Ability Group follows the nationally established standards and practices for interpreters/transliterators for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and employs the highest quality service providers with State and/or national certification documentation.

Communication Axess Ability Group understands the diversity of people who are deaf and hard of hearing and the inherent differences in geographical location and availability of communication access.  We strive to overcome those differences and provide the highest quality service accommodation available to all of our service areas.  It is because of this diversity and challenging environment that we employ a wide range of service providers from full-time staff professionals to independent contractor professionals.

Full-Time Staff

Full-time staff enjoy the wide range of company sponsored benefits and professional development programs in addition to normal employment taxation standards.  These benefits include vacation time, medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance program offerings and payment of professional dues, licensing and membership fees in industry specific organizations.  Our full-time staff is also covered by our Professional Liability Insurance coverage.

Part-Time Staff

Part-time staff enjoy the benefits of flexible hours, normal employment taxation standards, Professional Liability Insurance coverage while working on Communication Axess Ability Group assignments and have the choice of working for other agencies if they so choose.

Independent Contractor

Communication Axess Ability Group maintains approximately 100 Independent Contractor Agreements with a wide range of individuals and service provider companies in the Houston Metroplex and Southern Texas region.  Our employment of Contract professionals is exercised upon satisfactory completion of:

  • Formally executed Independent Contractor Agreement with viable W9 information
  • Professional Liability Insurance Coverage certificate
  • Documentation of Certification
  • Acceptable submission of standard fee schedule
